臨陣磨槍，不快也光

要想在考試中拿高分，說到底，還是得靠平時的積累和練習。時間充裕的考生可以參考各路備考指南攻略，買定參考資料，專心研究，多做錄音并回放，找出優點和不足，不斷改進。

真是到了臨考一兩個月或者更短的時候才想來要備考的考生，也不可以放任自流。在練習和考試的時候就要注意多抓重點，聽的時候要注重主要地方和答疑，不要被一些細枝末節的地方干擾，要培養起對考試的熟悉程度和臨考的自信心，有一套自己的練習方案，真正做到“臨陣磨槍，不快也光”。

知己知彼，百戰不殆

知己，不需贅言了，每一個人英語口語水平，自己心里大體都可以有個客觀準確的評斷，不太確定的通知可以找套真題給自己錄個音便大體知曉了。

知彼，也就是了解考題。我們這里說的了解考題，不僅是對考試的題型有所認識，了解評分標準，而是通過了解題目去分析和掌握英語口語表達的邏輯和語言習慣。很多考生難以開口說英語的很大原因就在于不知道怎么說是正確的，害怕出錯，所以羞于張口。所有語言都是相同的，口頭表達的底子每個人都有，詞匯的底子大都也是夠用的，我們所要知道的惡就是英語的表達和中文表達的不同之處即：

1. 中文的語言描述相對抽象，英文更注重細節的描寫。例如，中文說“電影院里很吵鬧”，英文就會表達成 “children are crying, old people are coughing and couples are whispering in the cinema.”

2. 句子和句子之間，中文多靠上下文的意思去聯系彼此之間的關系。英文則大都要使用邏輯連接詞。

3. 中文更傾向于含蓄的表達，有時為了說理有力，甚至用一個故事去引入要敘述的話題，而英文則習慣于單刀直入，開門見山。

否定句型：

1. There is not a moment to be lost. 分秒必爭。

2. There is no holding back the wheel of history. 歷史車輪不可阻擋。

3. Not a soul was anywhere visible. 到處見不到一個人。

4. I felt sorry for not coming in time. 我很抱歉沒準時到。
